At Journey Homes, we believe that building homes goes hand in hand with supporting the communities around them. That’s why we were proud to attend the Beresfords Property Dinner in support of Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT), held on Thursday 18 September 2025 at the prestigious Pan Pacific Hotel, London.
Essex & Herts Air Ambulance were once again the charity partner for this highly anticipated annual event, which brought together more than 300 guests from across the property industry and regional business community for an evening of celebration, fundraising and shared purpose.
The evening raised an incredible £52,808 for EHAAT — the highest total in the event’s six-year history — with all proceeds going directly towards supporting the charity’s vital, life-saving work across Essex and Hertfordshire, the same communities in which Journey Homes lives, works and builds.
Supported by headline sponsor Rightmove, the dinner was also made possible by the generous backing of Mode Photo, Agent Canvassing, Libre Solutions, Sona Insurance, FCC Paragon, Reapit, Handelsbanken, Tidywork and Dedman Gray.
Guests enjoyed a drinks reception, a three-course dinner, an auction and a luxury raffle, all contributing to the remarkable fundraising total. One of the most powerful moments of the evening was a moving on-stage conversation between EHAAT patient George Peasgood and Dr Gareth Grier, EHAAT’s Centre for Excellence Associate Medical Director. Their discussion highlighted the critical care provided by EHAAT following George’s serious head injury, offering a powerful reminder of just how vital this service is.
Proud to support our partners
Beresfords Estate Agents have been long-standing supporters of Essex & Herts Air Ambulance, having raised more than £120,000 for the charity to date — an incredible achievement.
Journey Homes is proud to work closely with Beresfords, who are the appointed sales agents for our Vicarage Wood development in South Weald. Like us, Beresfords share a strong commitment to the communities they serve, and it was a pleasure to support an event that reflects those shared values.
Paul Beresford, CEO of Beresfords, spoke of the generosity shown on the night and the success of moving the event to London, while Rob Goodwin, Area Director at Rightmove, highlighted the unique energy and sense of unity that continues to make the dinner such a special fixture in the property calendar.
Mark Jarman-Howe, CEO of Essex & Herts Air Ambulance, also emphasised how vital the funds raised are in enabling EHAAT’s teams to continue delivering life-saving care, day and night, across the region.
A cause close to home
For Journey Homes, supporting organisations like Essex & Herts Air Ambulance feels particularly meaningful. Their work protects the people and places where we build, ensuring rapid, specialist care is available when it is needed most.
Events like the Beresfords Property Dinner demonstrate the positive impact that can be achieved when businesses across the property industry come together to support causes that truly matter. We are proud to stand alongside Beresfords, Rightmove and the wider industry in backing EHAAT’s essential work.
We would like to congratulate Beresfords Estate Agents, particularly Nicki Treffers and the marketing team, on another outstanding event, and to thank Essex & Herts Air Ambulance for the extraordinary service they provide to our communities every day.
