Why Buying a New Build Home at Vicarage Wood Makes Sense
Looking to the Future — St Peter’s School and the Vicarage Wood Time Capsule
At Journey Homes, we believe great design is about respecting tradition while meeting the needs of modern living. At Vicarage Wood, our collection of homes in South Weald has been carefully designed to feel calm, comfortable and effortlessly liveable — homes that sit naturally within their rural surroundings while supporting contemporary family life.
Supporting our local communities is something Journey take pride in and last year’s Teddy Bear Picnic, organised by Sunbeams, the local parent and toddler group at St Peter’s Church, South Weald, was a perfect example of that spirit in action.
At Journey Homes, we believe that building homes goes hand in hand with supporting the communities around them. That’s why we were proud to attend the Beresfords Property Dinner in support of Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT), held on Thursday 18 September 2025 at the prestigious Pan Pacific Hotel, London.
We are delighted to have sponsored the new girls’ football kits for St Peter’s School, South Weald, providing Nike Pro kits featuring the St Peter’s shield alongside the Journey Homes name. Seeing the finished kits come together has been a real moment of pride for everyone involved.
From delivering design-led homes to supporting local communities, 2025 has been a year of meaningful progress at Journey Homes. Founder and CEO Dr Bejan Roohi reflects on the challenges faced, the momentum built and the opportunities that lie ahead.
